Private family services for Brandy Rene’ Carter Tovar, 42, Longview, were held at 1 p.m., Thursday, March 5, 2020, at Bartley Funeral Home.
Interment was in Sandflat Cemetery.
Ms. Tovar passed away February 29, 2020. She was born May 4, 1977 in Dallas. She spent her early years in Grand Saline and the last 34 years in Longview. She was a member of Sand Flat Church of Christ and graduated from Airline High School in Bossier City, LA. Brandy was preceded in death by her father, John Edward Carter; and grandparents, Vanida Shuemake and Bill & Dorothy Carter.
Survivors include her grandfather, Sid Shuemake of Grand Saline; parents, Sonda & George Dispenza of Longview; son, Ethan Isaac Tovar of Longview; two daughters, Gracie Marie Tovar and RubyLyn Marie Tovar, both of Longview; two brothers, Joey Dispenza of Hallsville and David Dispenza of New Hampshire; two sisters, Ashley Marie Dispenza of Longview and Jessica Montalvo of Tyler; the father of her children, Isaac Tovar of Longview; and numerous other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers were Joey Dispenza, David Dispenza, Wesley Shuemake, Lucas Tovar, Sidney Hoffpauir and Thomas Alexander Hoffpauir.
