Services for Venus Dion Tucker, 53, of Wills Point, are scheduled for 1 p.m., Saturday, October 30, 2021, at Bartley Funeral Home with Bro. James Massey officiating.
Ms. Tucker passed away October 24, 2021, in Greenville. She was born August 6, 1968, in Dallas, to Donald Ray Tucker and Gail Wright. Venus spent her early years in Mesquite, before moving to Wills Point 24 years ago. She is preceded in death by her father, Donald Ray Tucker; husband, Mark “Duck” Pierson; two sisters-in-law, Teresa Pierson and Sandra Pierson; father-in-law, James Pierson; and two brothers-in-law, Charles Davis and Harold Bailey.
Survivors include her mother-in-law, Dorothy Pierson of Fruitvale; son, Jeremy Pierson of Wills Point; daughter, Brittney Blue and husband Kobe of Grand Saline; daughter-in-law, Spring Jennings of Mesquite; three brothers-in-law, Steve Pierson of Wills Point, James Lee Pierson of Fruitvale, and Jeff Pierson of Fruitvale; sister, Sharon Tucker of Mesquite; two sisters-in-law, Donna Davis of Wills Point and Susan Bailey of Fruitvale; eight grandchildren, Devin Blue, Daytona Blue, McKinley Blue, Jeremy Pierson, Cali Pierson, Amelia Pierson, Eli Pierson, and Jayse Pierson; other family members, Valerie White and family, Christie Powell and family, Stephanie Chennault and family, Heather Pierson and family, Steven Brian and family, Josh Pierson and family, Britt Tucker and family, Charlie Sullivan, Chuck Sullivan, Jennifer Packer and family, Cody Pierson and family, Casey Pierson and family, Lacy Olvera and family, Debra Pierson and family; and numerous other relatives and friends.
