Roba Tullos

Graveside services for Roba Dwain “Bob” Tullos, 90, of Yantis, are scheduled for 2 p.m., Friday, February 24, 2023, at Salem Cemetery, Alba, with Dr. Mark Neeley officiating, under the direction of Wilson-Bartley Funeral Home, Alba.

Mr. Tullos passed away February 17, 2023, at his residence in Yantis. He was born May 10, 1932, in Crockett, to Robert Montalbin and Gertrude Elizabeth Hamlin Tullos. On December 28, 1950, he married Mary Francis Kelso in Quanah. He was the owner and operator of an automotive transmission shop. Bob had lived in the Alba area for 16 years. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife of 61 years, Mary Francis Tullos; son, Roger D. Tullos; and sister, Bobby Jean Wooldridge.

Survivors include three sons, Donald Roy Tullos and wife Teddy of Stephenville, Jonathan Timothy Tullos and wife Peggy of Stephenville, and Clinton Edward Tullos of Yantis; daughter, Kathleen Carruth and husband Max of Quitman; two brothers, Freelan D. Tullos and wife Betty of Lindale and Bill Tullos and wife Betty of Ft. Worth; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and numerous other relatives and friends.
