Services for Sherri Brooks Urista, 52 of Fruitvale, are scheduled for 11 a.m., Thursday, June 14, 2012 at Bartley Funeral Home.
Mrs. Urista passed away on June 10, 2012 in Grand Saline. She was born November 2, 1959 in Dallas. She spent many years in Las Vegas, NV and Dallas before moving to the Grand Saline area in 1997. She worked as an instructor and was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Urista.
Survivors include her companion, Randy Littlejohn of Fruitvale; parents, Patricia Ann & Walter Price of Olney and Robert & Mary Wardrup of Grand Saline; son and daughter-in-law, Craig Brooks & wife Carey of Plano; brother, Robert Glen Wardrup of Graham; two sisters and brother-in-law, Robbie Wardrup of Wichita Falls and Ruth Ann & Jim Lilses of Umpqua, OR; and two grandchildren, Ella Maree Brooks and Garett Stiles Brooks.
The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to services on Thursday at the funeral home.
