Visitation for Mr. James Robert “Jimmy” Vaillencourt, 74 of Grand Saline, will be held 6:30-7:30 p.m., Wednesday, April 17, 2013 at Bartley Funeral Home.
Interment will be in the DFW National Cemetery in Dallas.
Mr. Vaillencourt passed away April 15, 2013 in Grand Saline. He was born May 29, 1938 in Flint, Michigan to Raymond & Ethel Paige Vaillencourt. He retired from the U.S. Air Force after 20 years of service. He moved to Grand Saline in 2010 and was Nazarene. Mr. Vaillencourt was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Shirley Brown Vaillencourt and Sharon Vaillencourt.
Survivors include children, James Vaillencourt Jr. of San Antonio, Rebecca Knight of Houston, Sarita Stuart of Grand Saline, Sonja Balentine of Emory and Jovana Rhodes of Tyler; brother, Raymond Vaillencourt of Wyoming, Mich; sisters, Winifred Krul and Elizabeth Szczapanak, all of Wyoming, mother of his children, Janice Vaillencourt of Grand Saline; Mich.; and a host of grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to Reflections Hospice of Texas, 406 W. Blair Suite 200, Mineola, TX 75773.
