Barbara Vess

Mrs. Barbara Feagin Vess “Bobbie”, 77, of Grand Saline, passed away peacefully Saturday, July 13, 2024, in Grand Saline, surrounded by her family. She was born June 21, 1947, in Dallas. Bobbie lived all her life in Grand Saline. She was preceded in death by her parents, Granville and Francis Ison Warrick; husband, Alvin Vess; son, Michael Vess; two sisters, Loretta Warrick and Cheryl Warrick; brother, Paul Guidry; and grandson, Dustin Vess.

Survivors include her two sons, Rusty Vess and wife Donna of Grand Saline and Billy Joe Vess and wife Michelle of Queen City; two daughters, Nancy Dement of Jacksonville and Cindy Gibson and husband John of Grand Saline; brother, Richard Carrier of Dallas; two sisters, Renea Tucker of Rowlett and Debbie Shepherd of Florida; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends.

The family will have a private memorial service at a later date.
