ALBA – Celebration of life for Rhonda Carol Joslin Wheatley, 68, of Alba, will be held at a later date by the family. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Wilson-Bartley Funeral Home, Alba.
Mrs. Wheatley passed away Tuesday, April 18, 2017, at her residence in Alba.
Rhonda was born Thursday, July 29, 1948, in Waxahachie, to the late Clarence Dwight and Mamie Katheryne Carrol Joslin. She married Bobby Jack Wheatley on December 13, 1974, in Durant, OK. She worked as a secretary in the manufacturing industry. Rhonda had lived in the Alba area since 2002 and was a member of the Farley Street Baptist Church, Waxahachie.
Survivors include her husband of 42 years, Bobby Wheatley of Alba; daughter, Melissa and husband Michael Mohr of Red Oak; brother, Gary Joslin of DeLeon; granddaughter, Rachael Nicole Mohr; and numerous nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Linda Thornton; and sister-in-law, Patty Black Joslin.
