Earline Lee Wheeler
Services for Earline Lee Wheeler, 67 of Grand Saline, are scheduled for 11 a.m., Monday, February 20, 2012 at Roundflat Pentecostal Church with Sis. Delana Wheeler and Bro. Homer Morgan officiating.
Burial will follow in Creagleville Cemetery under the direction of Bartley Funeral Home, Grand Saline.
Ms. Wheeler passed away February 18, 2012 in a Grand Saline nursing home. She was born July 14, 1943 in Grand Saline to Edward Lee & Hazel Morgan Wheeler. She spent most of her life in Van Zandt County where she was a member of Roundflat Pentecostal Church and worked as a nurses aide. She was preceded in death by her father; grandson, Harold Meroney Jr.; and great-grandson, Matthew Lane Meroney.
Survivors include her mother, Hazel Wheeler of Fruitvale; 5 daughters and sons-in-law, Lesa & Chet Yant of Grand Saline, Cathy & Mark Hansen of Grand Saline, Pennye & Jimmy Wise of Edgewood, Peggy & Ricky Boyles of Grand Saline and Sandra & Calvin Love of Fruitvale; brother and sister-in-law, Roland & Elaine Wheeler of Fruitvale; 10 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers will be Bobby Love, Lynn Barrett, Mary Nell McDonald, Alona Anderson, Kay Meroney, Brittany Taylor and Kyle Thompson.
Honorary pallbearers will be the grandsons.
The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
