Graveside services for Michael Joe “Big Mike” White, 48, of Fruitvale, are scheduled for 1 p.m., Tuesday, May 4, 2021, at Creagleville Cemetery with Bro. Homer Morgan officiating, under the direction of Bartley Funeral Home, Grand Saline.
Mr. White passed away May 1, 2021, at his home. He was born June 13, 1972, in Dallas, to David Richard & Jimmie Sue Grooms White. He spent all his life in Fruitvale, where he was a member of Roundflat Pentecostal Church, and had worked at Country Trails and Azalea Trails nursing homes for many years. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, David Lynn White; and two nephews, Myka Scott and Bryson White.
Survivors include his three sisters, Susan Copeland of Fruitvale, Regina Meyer and husband Dean of Fruitvale, and Becky Johnson of Marshall; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Memorials may be made to Hospice Plus 318 E Nash St #1, Terrell, TX 75160.
The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m., Monday, at the funeral home.
