Services for Sue White, 78, of Fruitvale, are scheduled for 11 a.m., Wednesday, July 1, 2020, at Round Flat Pentecostal Church, with Bro. Homer Morgan officiating.
Interment will follow at Creagleville Cemetery, under the direction of Bartley Funeral Home.
Mrs. Sue White passed away June 27, 2020, at her home in Fruitvale. She was born January 18, 1942, in Dallas to Jimmy & Hazel Sims Grooms. Sue was born and raised in Dallas and then spent the last 40 years in Fruitvale. She worked as a CNA for over 30 years, was a member of Round Flat Pentecostal Church and most loved being a "Nanny" to her grandbabies. Sue is preceded in death by her parents; husband, David Richard White; son, David Lynn White; sister, Glenda Gail Varner; and great-grandsons, Myka Scott and Bryson Lee White.
Survivors include her son, Michael Joe White of Fruitvale; four daughters, Susan Copeland of Fruitvale, Regina Meyer and husband Dean of Fruitvale, Becky Johnson of Marshall, and Christie Lynn Goldberg and husband William of Conroe; six grandchildren, Amber Sherwood, Bubba White, Shanna Smith, April Gant, Cory White, and Misty Smith; sixteen great-grandchildren, Damion Pogue, Bexlee Smith, Hunter White, Chevy White, Meadow White, Journey White, Steeler White, Kaya Johnson, Karsyn Johnson, Braylen White, Analae White, Brinley White, Caden White, Serenity White, Lexus Teague and Trinadey Teague; and numerous other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers will be Dean Meyer, Delbert Savage, Tony Johnson, Rick Johnson, Cory White and William Goldberg.
Memorials may be made to Hospice Plus 318 E. Nash Street, Terrell, TX 75160.
The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m., Tuesday, at Bartley Funeral Home.
