Graveside services for Daniel Lee Whitus, 79, Abilene, are scheduled for 10 a.m., Thursday, August 15, 2019, at Colony Cemetery.
Mr. Whitus passed away August 11, 2019 in Abilene. He was born August 3, 1940, in Rains County to Harmon Richard & Clarice Irene Bullock Whitus. He was preceded in death by his parents; and six sisters, Madie Lee, Betty Whitus, Billie Joyce Whitus, Linda Kay Whitus, Shirley Becks and Brenda Gotch.
Survivors include her four sisters, Irene Whitus Turner of Abilene, Maudine Whitus Thackerson of Grandbury, Frances Whitus Pruett of Abilene and Laura Whitus of Abilene; and numerous other relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends 9 a.m., Thursday, August 15, 2019, at the funeral home.
