Roger Dale Wiggins aka “Rock”
Graveside services for Mr. Roger Dale Wiggins, aka “Rock”, 53 of Midland, formerly of Grand Saline, are scheduled for 2 p.m., Saturday, January 21, 2012 at Woodside Cemetery under the direction of Bartley Funeral Home, Grand Saline.
Mr. Wiggins passed away January 14, 2012 in Midland. He was born August 16, 1958 in Winnsboro, LA to Benny & Pauline Berry Wiggins. He spent most of his life in East Texas before moving to Midland this past year. He worked in the oil field for over 30 years where he “climbed the ladder” quickly in the industry. He was preceded in death by his father; brother, Donnie Neal Wiggins; children, Michael Dewayne Wiggins and Harley Michelle Wiggins; and nephew, Donnie Wayne Wiggins.
Survivors include his wife, Tina Wiggins of Midland; mother, Pauline Wiggins of Midland; daughters, Candice Emmons of Grand Saline, Sara Hill of Grand Saline and Samantha Wiggins of Midland; brother, Jimmy Wayne Wiggins of Midland; nephews, Tim and Matt Wiggins of Midland; and grandchild, Hollis Michael Hill of Midland.
Pallbearers will be Mike Taylor, Trevor Warren, Mex Ray, Danny Taylor, Red Ford and James Haney.
The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
