William Ray Boyles

Visitation for Mr. William Ray Boyles, 95, of Grand Saline, is scheduled for 6-8 p.m., Wednesday, August 27, 2025, at Bartley Funeral Home.

A private graveside service will be held at Woodside Cemetery.

William Ray Boyles passed away at his home on August 25, 2025. He was born September 19, 1929, in Grand Saline, to Ed Silas and Mattie Effie Hightower Boyles. Mr. Boyles was a lifelong resident of Grand Saline and attended Assembly of God churches. He retired from Morton Salt after 43 years of dedicated service. He proudly served his country in the United States Army and was a Master Mason. William Ray was a 50 plus member of the Grand Saline Masonic Lodge #1269.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two sons, Ronnie Boyles and Bimmy Boyles; brothers, Ove Lee Boyles, R.E. Boyles, Phillip Boyles, and Edward Boyles; and two sisters, Inez Crawford, and Wanda Campbell.

Survivors include his wife of 71 years, Margarette Stone Boyles of Grand Saline; two daughters-in-law, Billie Boyles of Alba, and Teena Boyles of Grand Saline; two grandchildren, Bryan Boyles and wife Leesa, and Ronnie Boyles and wife Samantha; five great-grandchildren, Parker, Blake, Graham, Charlotte, and Avery; and numerous other relatives and friends.

Pallbearers will be Bryan Boyles, Ronnie Boyles, Parker Boyles, Blake Boyles, Graham Boyles, and Samantha Boyles.
