William (Bill) Henry Kuykendall passed away December 23, 2025. He was born March 6, 1945, to A.R. (Buck) and Edith Leonard Kuykendall in Pearsall, TX.
Bill married Celia Knox on December 1, 1971, in Littlefield, TX. They lived in McMullen County for three years. From there they moved to Sudan where Bill attended South Plains College. After graduation they made their home in Sudan for 27 years. There they raised their two children, Len and Melissa. From there they moved to Littlefield while living part-time at Toledo Bend Lake. In 2011, they moved to Lake Fork where they currently reside.
Bill was a very talented man. He could repair anything and everything!! He loved a challenge of building or making things work! He and Celia also owned and operated Tax Service in Littlefield for 35 years. His hobbies included visiting his grandkids, traveling to all 50 states and several countries, fishing, boating, scuba diving, flying his plane, camping and being outside. Bill was a member of Lake Fork Baptist Church as well as a member of the Littlefield Masonic Lodge. He was an excellent husband for 54 years and 22 days, a wonderful Dad, son and brother.
He is survived by his wife, Celia Kuykendall; son, Len Kuykendall, his wife Angelique and their children, Karson and Kolton Kuykendall; daughter, Melissa Jones, her husband Chris and their children, Chloe and Callie Jones; sister, Mary Edith (Ralph) Edwards; niece, Melinda (Neal) Dunn; brothers-in-law, Chester (Sandra) Knox and Jimmy Knox.
Bill was proceeded in death by his parents; a brother, Leonard Kuykendall; and his mother and father-in-law, R.B. and Janice Knox.
There will be a celebration of Bill’s life on Sunday, January 4, 2025, at 3:00 p.m. at Lake Fork Baptist Church, Alba, TX., under the direction of the church and his family.
