GRAND SALINE – Services for James Earl Williams, 78, of Grand Saline, are scheduled for 4:00 p.m. Sunday, December 2, 2012, at Bartley Funeral Home chapel, Grand Saline, with Bro. Eddie Paul Stanley officiating.
Burial will be in Sand Flat Cemetery, Grand Saline, under direction of Bartley Funeral Home.
Mr. Williams passed away Friday, November 30, 2012, in a Grand Saline nursing home.
He was born January 30, 1934, in Grand Saline, to the late Cecil Earl and Mary Etta Joslin Williams. He lived all of his life in Grand Saline, and retired in 1993 from Morton Salt after 33 years of service.
Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Nancy Darlene Williams of Grand Saline; son, James Kip Williams of Grand Saline; daughter and son-in-law, Kelly and Tommy Miller of Grand Saline; brother and sister-in-law, Ray and JoAnn Williams of Mineola; granddaughter, Kelsie Woodall and husband Eric; and numerous other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Cecil and Mary Williams.
Pallbearers are Don Yarbrough, Ronnie Monk, Pat O’Donnell, Erik Hicks, Jason Williams, Ryan Williams, and Tyrel Evans.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 1301 S. Broadway, Tyler, 75701.
Family will receive friends Saturday evening at the funeral home 6-8 p.m.
