Graveside services for Ruby Dale Williams, 89 of Grand Saline, are scheduled for 1 p.m., Wednesday, November 23, 2011 at Garden Valley Cemetery with Bro. Virgil Kirkpatrick officiating under the direction of Bartley Funeral Home, Grand Saline.
Mrs. Williams passed away November 20, 2011 in Tyler. She was born September 17, 1922 in Grand Saline to Nimrod & Liza Jane Hickman Hughes. She spent most all of her life in Grand Saline. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, R.S. “Rabbit” Williams; brothers, Merle Hughes and Raymond Hughes; sisters, Lula Mae Tutor and Esther Chandler; and niece, Virginia Tutor.
Survivors include her sister, Betty Miller of Grand Saline; nieces, Melinda Tutt of Longview, Pam Barker of Mineola, Darla Barrett of Lindale, Beverly Tutor of Grand Saline, Linda Hughes of Irving and Toni Hughes of Lake Dallas; and nephew, J.E. Chandler of Houston.
The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
