Mary Swan Clark Winkle
ALBA – Funeral services for Mary Swan Winkle, 81, of Alba, are scheduled for 10 am Saturday, August 12, 2017, at Wilson-Bartley Funeral Home Chapel, Alba, under the direction of Wilson-Bartley Funeral Home, with Bro. Fred Morrow officiating.
Burial will be in Pleasant Ridge Cemetery, Alba.
Mrs. Winkle passed away Wednesday, August 9, 2017, in Mineola.
She was born Tuesday, June 30, 1936, in Red River County, to the late Jessie Leon and Ludie Hope Howland Clark. She married R.J. Winkle on December 18, 1954, in Clarksville. Mary lived in the Alba area since 1995 and was a member of Spence Park Baptist Church, Balch Springs.
Survivors include her husband of 62 years, R.J. Winkle of Alba; sons; Jimmy and wife Debbie Winkle of Alba, David and wife Debbie Winkle of Blooming Grove, and Darrell and wife Denise Winkle of Atlanta, Georgia; brother, Harold Clark of Alba; grandchildren, Gary and wife Lora Winkle, Timothy and wife Billie Winkle, Richard and wife Taylor Winkle, Barry and wife Erika Winkle, and Kevin and wife Brittany Winkle; and six great-grandchildren, with one on the way.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Carolyn Clark; and sister-in-law, Ailene Clark.
Pallbearers will be Gary Winkle, Timothy Winkle, Richard Winkle, Barry Winkle, Kevin Winkle, and Michael Clark.
Family visitation will be Friday 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
