Services for Joyce Elaine Woodrum, 66, of Grand Saline will be held 10:00 a.m., Monday, November 25, 2013 at Bartley Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Rodgers Cemetery in Grand Saline.
Mrs. Woodrum passed away November 21, 2013. She was born October 1, 1947 to Harold and Vernice Smith Kelley in Athens, Texas. She lived her early years in Athens and Dallas and the last 45 years in Grand Saline. She worked for Walmart as a retail clerk for 20 years.
Elaine was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Wayne Holman; and granddaughter, Brandy Woodrum. She is survived by her husband, Jessie Woodrum of Grand Saline; one son, Michael Holman of Gilmer; one step-son Jesse Woodrum and wife Kim of United Arabic Emirates; one step-daughter, Tina Nicholson of Grand Saline; one brother, Wayne Kelley and wife Becky of Grand Saline; one sister Judy Loden and husband Dean of Athens; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and numerous other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers will be Matt Dickerson, Brian Woodrum, Billy Wayne Woodrum, Michael Frank, Darren Smith, and Ricky Duncan.
The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Sunday, November 24, 2013. Memorials can be made to the American Cancer Society.
