Graveside services for Mrs. Willie Mae Woods, 91, of Ben Wheeler, are scheduled for 1 p.m., Saturday, January 11, 2014 at Luling Cemetery, Luling, TX.
Mrs. Woods passed away January 7, 2014 in Quitman. She was born May 2, 1922 in Loraine to Sydney J. & Zora Hudgins Neal. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, R.B. “Pete” Woods; one brother, Kenneth Neal; and two sisters, Lorena Marshall and Vertie Stone.
Survivors include her three sons, Bobby Woods and wife Charlene of Adkins, Jacky Woods of Dale and Elmer Woods of Lindale; daughter, Sherry Aulie of Ben Wheeler; sister, Jerreldean Saunders of Grand Saline; six grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m., Friday at the funeral home.
