Services for Mr. Kenneth “Gramps” Zenkner, 81, of Waco, are scheduled for 2 p.m., Saturday, December 30, 2023, at Bartley Funeral Home, with Dr. Kelly Krone officiating.

Mr. Zenkner passed away December 20, 2023, in Clifton, TX. He was born April 7, 1942, in Albany, to Walter & Ida Leschber Zenkner. He spent his early years in Albany, 33 years in Grand Saline, and the last 7 years in Waco. He married LaQuita Gilbreath Zenkner on February 17, 1968. Kenneth worked as a machinist in Dallas, and then retired from Morton Salt in Grand Saline. He was a former member of First United Methodist Church in Grand Saline, and a current member of First Methodist Church in Waco.

Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents; Walter & Ida Zenkner; two sisters, Lanette Beal, and Beatrice Hohhertz; two brothers, Charles Zenkner, and Manfred Zenkner; and two brothers-in-law, Royse Gilbreath, and Joe Sellers, Jr.

Survivors include his wife of 55 years, LaQuita Zenkner of Waco; daughter, Allison Crawford, and husband Drew of Waco; three grandchildren, Hannah Crawford of College Station, Cayden Crawford of Waco, and Bret Crawford of Waco; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
