Paul Richard Davault
ALBA – Services for Paul Richard Davault, 77, of Alba, are scheduled for 2 p.m. Wednesday, September 28, 2016, at St. Dunstan Episcopal Church, Mineola, with Father Tom Pantle officiating.
Burial will be in DFW National Cemetery, Dallas, on Thursday, September 29, 2016, at 11:15, under the direction of Wilson-Bartley Funeral Home, Alba.
Mr. Davault passed away Thursday, September 22, 2016, in a Tyler hospital.
He was born Thursday, February 9, 1939, in Denison, to the late Ray Lewis and Dollie Walton Davault. Paul was in the Army National Guard, worked as a Dock Worker for 35 years at Yellow Freight, and owned his own business striping parking lots and commercial lawn maintenance. He was an avid golfer, bowler, and outdoors man. He had lived in the Alba area for the last 11 years and was a Christian.
Survivors include his wife, Diana Davault of Alba; four sons, H. Taylor & Anne Smith of Iowa, Wesley R. & Kelly Duck of Dallas, Stephen R. Duck of Roslindale, MA, and Joshua R. Josey of Dallas; three daughters, Shawntell L. McKillop of San Angelo, Wendy L. & Clint Hollandsworth of Denton, and Danielle R. & Max Cavignac of Denton; sister, Judith K. & Robert Love of Garland; numerous grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Cheryce Davault; son, Paul R. Davault, Jr.; daughter, Delfa L. Ferguson; and three brothers, James L. Davault, Michael D. Davault, and Larry D. Davault.
Family visitation will be Tuesday at Wilson-Bartley funeral home from 6-8 p.m.
